This policy explains what personal data I collect when you use this website or work with me, why I collect it, who I share it with, and the rights you have over it. I keep data collection to the minimum I need to actually help you — no selling, no spam.

01 Who I am

This website is operated by Bansal International OÜ, a private limited company registered in Estonia ("I", "me", "my"). I am the data controller responsible for your personal data. For any privacy matter you can reach me at hello@jaysbansal.com.

02 What I collect

I only collect what you give me or what's needed to run the site:

• Name and email address — when you join the invite list, request the Launch Sequence, or book a discovery call.
• Phone number — if you choose to contact me via WhatsApp.
• Quiz / fit-check answers — the responses you give in the "which path is right for you" quiz and discovery-call form (handled via Typeform), so I can tailor a recommendation.
• Booking details — scheduling information you submit when you request a call.
• Usage data — pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and similar analytics, collected through cookies and the tools listed in section 04.

03 Why I use it & my legal basis

Under the GDPR, I rely on the following legal bases:

• Consent — for sending you the Launch Sequence, marketing emails, and for non-essential cookies/analytics. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Performance of a contract / taking steps to enter one — to schedule and deliver discovery calls and coaching you've requested.
• Legitimate interests — to operate, secure and improve the website, and to respond to your enquiries. I balance these against your rights.

04 Third-party tools I use

I use a small number of trusted providers ("processors") who handle data on my behalf. Each has its own privacy terms:

• Google Analytics — website usage measurement.
• Meta (Facebook) Pixel — measuring ad performance and reach.
• Typeform — collecting your discovery-call requests and quiz / fit-check responses.
• An email marketing platform (e.g. Mailchimp / ConvertKit) — sending the Launch Sequence and updates you've opted into.

These providers may process data outside the EEA. Where they do, I rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

05 Cookies & tracking

This site uses cookies and similar technologies — some essential for the site to function, and some (analytics and advertising pixels) used to understand traffic and measure ads. For visitors in the EU, UK and EEA, these non-essential cookies run only with your consent, which you can give or refuse via the cookie banner and change at any time. Elsewhere they may run by default as permitted by local law; you can still opt out using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer or your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

06 How long I keep it

I keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected: enquiry and booking data for as long as we're in contact and a reasonable period afterward; mailing-list data until you unsubscribe; and analytics data per the retention settings of the tools above. After that it is deleted or anonymised.

07 Your rights

Because I'm an EU controller, you have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal data I hold about you.
• Rectify data that's inaccurate or incomplete.
• Erase your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing.
• Portability — receive your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing.

To exercise any of these, email hello@jaysbansal.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon) or your local supervisory authority.

08 Security

I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so I can't guarantee absolute security — but I work to keep your data safe and to notify you of any breach where required by law.

09 Children

This site and my services are intended for adults in business. I don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided me data, contact me and I'll delete it.

10 Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
